For nine months, I worked hand in hand with the Oleander team, which allowed me to meet many amazing people. During my last two months with the store, I was fortunate enough to be able to help the marketing department by joining the team as the Assistant Marketing Director!
This position allowed me to further showcase my talents that were both gained, and mastered during my graduate program. From that, I was able to successfully spearheaded the effort to revitalize the social media presence for the Oleander store. I was handed over the stores Instagram on February 1st, and during my time as Assistant Marketing Director, my main tasks were…
Overseeing implementation of new campaigns for new products (Key-Lime Lemonade, Spicy Grilled Deluxe)
Building morale through celebrations of team members birthdays and anniversaries
Fostering direct communication with Abby Layton and CFA Corporates Social Media team (ensured the store was showcased on CFA’s main page)
Performing these tasks saw the stores Instagram gain…
67,251 new views to profile from January thru March (up 24.7 precent from before I took over)
911 new interactions (up 25.8 percent from before I took over)
28 new followers

Before the feed was almost robotic, with stock images taking up most of the space. It was your generic Chick-fil-A social media page. The main goal was to showcase the workers that our guests and followers knew and had connections with. Authentic visuals showcasing real people and products from the store resonate better with the audience and aiding in fostering a deeper connection.
